Dear Friends,
When diagnosed with Lupus, Atypical Rheumatic Disease, and Fibromyalgia Syndrome in 1991, I was at the peak of my prestigious
marketing career with a budding life ahead of me. Not only was I in the
top one percent of all wage earners for my age, but I was healthy in
every way. It all came crashing down with the well remembered stock market crash, “Black Monday” of 1987. Soon after I grew devastatingly ill and became totally incapacitated, losing everything I had worked for. It seemed that God had a different plan for my life. I know that many
people today are facing similar circumstances in today's economy.
This is why I am writing to share my miraculous journey of health and healing. When I rescued a beautiful puppy from a drain pipe over nine years ago, I found a path to hope and restoration.
After having been homeless, labeled disabled and living alone on social income, I was truly heartbroken. May my story inspire and give hope to anyone facing loss of health, career, income, and feeling alone or abandoned. I believe we all need encouragement to overcome life's obstacles with faith, hope, and courage.
With the help of Shelby (my four-legged friend), God’s grace and good people, my life has changed drastically. By learning to take one step at a time, creating my own diet plan, and believing in Biblical faith, I have lost the 50 pounds I gained due to being bedridden, over-medicated and unemployed. I now walk, share my story and enjoy encouraging others
to find hope.
Please allow me the privilege to share my journey with you in print or through media. I am available for speaking engagements as well as radio or television interviews.
I trust that you will be inspired to live a healthier life — physically, spiritually and emotionally.
Sincerely yours,
